It’s hot now where I live actually, but winters can be very cold sometimes. I don’t need to worry much because I live indoors, but for those cats cats living outdoors, tell your servants to take into account this advice:

Keep all poisonous plants out of our reach and all your other pets.

Be careful of using artificial snow and tree preservatives as it can be poisonous for us to consume.

Bang on your car hood or honk you horn prior to starting the vehicle as it will scare off any cats attempting to warm itself on the engine block.

Provide a warm safe place that your cat can rest outdoors; it should be well-insulated and you should offer high caloric food and fresh drinking water.

Keep chocolate and alcohol away from cats as a small amount is extremely toxic.

Clean your cat's feet when they come indoors; the chemicals used to de-ice the streets and sidewalks can irritate their sensitive feet.

Not only that, she and her brother, who’s 6 year old, made useful handicrafts to gather donations they gave to the shelter to help with the expenses of caring for cats. It great to see the love for animals kids of this age have. Cats love kids too, it’s just natural.

Panzer, a cat who suffered from New Orlean’s Hurricane Katrina chaos has also received love from the people at Cats-Are-Purrsons-Too a home for felines in care need. His family had to leave him behind on the storm and found him waiting at the door of their ruined home. They started looking for shelters that could take care of him until they settled again, and found Sister Marijon’s foundation (www.touchedbyananimal.com) that helped them have Panzer back and healthy. Animals teach us how to love suggested Sister Marijon. I think that’s true.

I know we, cats, are important for our servants. But this time an 11 year old boy will be honored for quickly lying to her mother when she wanted to go back to save Simba. The cat got trapped on the house fire but the kid told her he had already escaped. Simba was burned on his paws and ears, but he’s ok. Cats are quicker to escape than humans.

Sad news is that Asiatic lion from India are in danger of extinction. India is the only place besides Africa where lions exist today. Scientists suggest they should be translocated to survive but are being ignored. I believe humans should just use their brains sometime. It’s like the old story “as they didn’t come for me, I didn’t care”.

Black Cat Not Allowed To Be Feed By Cat Lover Margaret Hughes

They do have weird laws around the world. From where I come, cats live at the comfort of their servant homes or at the comfort of the streets, and they can enjoy the care of cat lovers without anyone forbidding it. There is even a botanic park full of cats with old ladies feeding them.

It seems at Canton, Ohio, there is strict health policy and they don’t let people feed us if we don’t have the right vaccines. Or may be they just don’t like cats ;). Anyway, a good shelter called Pet Guards intervened to help the lady, little black cat Ghost and her companion.

I love cat lovers! Purrrr!

Boots The Cat Featured In Stamps

Boots the Cat is featured with other fictional creatures as part of the Animal Tales series of stamps at Royal Mail in Great Britain.

Now that I think about it, I don’t see myself with boots.
